Here's a glimpse at some of our primary roles in serving at YWAM Denver.

Since 2007, we have worked hard each year in helping develop YWAM Denver's School of Worship. In 2015 Andrew began directing the school and has been leading the program since. The purpose of the school is in line with our calling as a family in ministry: to equip and train young people to go and lead the nations into the presence of God through their gifts and talents in worship.

The Discipleship Training School is the entry-level program for every student in YWAM. The heart of the school mirrors YWAM's call to "Know God and Make Him Known," as the program consists of a three month lecture phase followed by a two month outreach overseas. By completing this school students are able to further their experience by attending secondary schools (like the School of Worship) or by serving on staff almost anywhere in the world. Andrew completed his DTS and outreach to Bosnia/Romania in 2006 with YWAM Denver, while Rachel completed her DTS in 2004 with YWAM Worcester, South Africa. One of the founders of Youth With A Mission, Darlene Cunningham, has been known to say "As the DTS goes, so goes the mission." We know this to be true, and have personally invested ourselves in both the leading and development of this amazing school and the staff who run it each term.

We've recently felt compelled to invest more intentionally in raising up other worship leaders among our fellow staff. With a new prayer room at our campus, multiple operating locations, and future bridge teams being released from our ministry (Bacalar, Mexico and Lanzhou, China), there's a big task ahead of us. We know the Lord has us here in Denver to equip and develop other leaders so that they can go serve and bless each of these expressions of our ministry and beyond.
